About Us

The Center on Strengthening and Supporting the Educator Workforce (SSEW) provides evidence-based practices, strategies, and tools through universal and targeted capacity building to attract, prepare, and retain a high quality workforce, particularly in critical shortage areas.

As part of the Comprehensive Center Network, SSEW works directly with Regional Comprehensive Centers. We also connect and partner with other federally-funded technical assistance centers and national organizations that work on educator shortage solutions.

SSEW is led by RTI International in partnership with RMC Research Corporation, Westat, UNC Greensboro, and ImaginED Partners. Contact SSEW at SSEW@rti.org.

You can also stay connected with SSEW by following us on LinkedIn and/or signing up for email updates. We would love to stay connected and explore opportunities to connect with your organization to support multiple aspects of the educator workforce shortage and its solutions.
